Hi,
Has anyone come across any Gilmans in their searches.  My gggrandad was Michael Gilman a Shoemaker from Kirwans Lane, Carrick-on-Suir he married Ellen Hennessy in Carrick on 15 Jan 1870.  I can't find any Gilmans prior to that in Tipp, but there seems to be a fair few in Cork. Any info would be appreciated

No I have only his name and the details of his marraige in Carrick on Suir Tipprary on 15 Jan 1870. At the time of marriage his father is listed as deceased.

Would you have come across Michael born about 1840's possibly with a father named James or Joseph.

It would be great to get a link back as I am stuck with just Michael's name as far back as I can get for the moment.
