Burngreave Cemetary
« on: Friday 22 February 08 03:34 GMT (UK) »
I have just found the plot no. for my G G Grandfather who was buried within the grounds of Burngreave Cemetary and was wondering if any kind soul who lives nearby would be willing to do a lookup of the MI  or even take a photo of it. Apologies if the weather is presently fierce there (I'm from OZ where it's currently 28 degrees  8) ) I dont expect anyone to brave horrible weather but would appreciate someone keeping my request in mind next time they are venturing in that area.

The particulars are as follows
Abraham Denial (accountant)
Plot no. L1 38
Burial date 11 August 1881
Burial no. 32082
Unconsecrated section

Many thanks in advance

Hi Cybermouse.

Found this at the archives in the MI's.

L1 38
In Affectionate Remembrance of ABRAHAM DENIAL who died Aug 8 1881 aged 63 years. In Memory of MARY DENIAL who died July 10 1907 aged 90 years.
In Loving Memory of ADA BRADBURN who departed this life Jan 28 1922 aged 67 years. Also RICHARD the beloved husband of the above ADA BRADBURN who died Feb 9th 1928 aged 76 years.

All on the same stone.

Do you have an Alexander DENIAL with a wife Annie Maria...?

Kind Regards
Tuppie

Thanks Tuppie, your a legend
The Bradburn name is a bit of a mystery. Could Ada be Abraham and Mary's daughter? Will have to look into this.

Alexander Denial and wife Anna Marie are part of my clan. I already have the MI for their grave as well as a photo of it. Would love to get my hands on a photo of Abraham and Mary's grave but sigh I live too far away in Oz.

Many thanks again, Tuppie

Had a look last night on my data base and found Ada as one of Abraham and Mary's daughter, though your post has given me a "heads up" for an aprox marriage date and husbands name so many thanks for that!
Shall have a squize on FreeBMD.

Hi
My mother was Gladys Katheen Denial and we seem to share the same ancestor Abraham. Can you please give me the link to your family in Australia from Abraham?
