1891/1901 look up please-area Croydon name Penfold

Hi l know this is a long shot but could someone kindly look up the following on either 91 or 01 census?

Emily PENFOLD born c1890 Croydon area

Frederick FARROW born c1888 croydon area

Any help at all would be very much appreciated.

Were your PENFOLDs originally Gypsies/travellers?  I know quite a few of them settled in the Croydon area.

If so, and you get back to any connection in Kent, then I may have something in my notes somewhere.

Hi, Yes there is a big traveller/gypsy connection, Emily Penfold married frederick FARROW sometime in the early 1900`s they had  daughter`s  Helena born 1919 in Croydon, and Rose. Helena married Victory CURTIS in c1940 in Croydon.

Hi Robert

Once you can get back into the 1800s I would hope that I would be able to find something in my notes.  I know that there were loads of PENFOLDs in Croydon, a lot in Hampshire and some down in Devon.  I only really collect info on those in Kent but ancestry for some of those in Surrey leads back to Kent at some stage.

Perhaps you could get Emily's marriage certificate to establish her age,  father's name etc. and then post again.  I shall be offlne for a while from tomorrow but hope to be back before too long.

This is what l know Emily Penfold`s parents were Robert born c1863 and mary ann nee Saunders born c1865 Maidstone, Kent.
Emily had several siblings
William born c1888 Maidstone
John born c1895 Croydon
Rose Born c1898 Croydon
James born c1900 Croydon
