I would be extremely grateful for a look-up of a marriage at Manchester Cathedral on 20 June 1841, between Thomas Clough and Sarah Wilkinson if anyone is visting the library in Manchester.
Thanks in anticipation.

Dear Aud,

I am hoping that this will catch you before you next go, and if you have the time of course. I would really appreciate it if you could look up:
JAMES MC CORMICK
Marriages:
Spouse:  HANNAH HIGGINS
Marriage:  06 JUN 1843   Cathedral, Manchester, Lancashire, England
.
I have my Granddad's Marriage certificate, but it only gives his father's name as James, and I cannot find him on the census, I have at last found a birth registration in 1844, on 1837 on line, so I am hopeful that the above marriage may be his father and his mother.
If you do not have time, don't worry, it is so kind of you to have done so many.
Kind regards,
Pat

For Shirley and Pat, here are the details you wanted.

M/c Cathedral 20/6/1841

Thomas Clough - full age - bachelor - brewer - lived Deansgate - father John - joiner
Sarah Wilkinson - full age - spinster - lived Deansgate - father John - tailor
Thomas was literate, Sarah marked a cross & witnesses were David Bowker & Eliza Wilkinson who were both illiterate.

M/c Cathedral 6/6/1843 by special licence number 28619

James Mc Cormick - full age - bachelor - tailor - 8 Allen Street, Chorlton- on - Medlock - father Patrick - shoemaker
Hannah Higgins - full age - spinster - 13 Allen St as above - father William - labourer

Both illiterate and witnesses were Winifred Toaffe(s) and Thomas Janeson or Jamson??
Hope this helps you both
