Hi Audrey,
I have just come across these messages.
Would it be possible for you to look up the marriage of Jesse Warhurst and Charlotte Smith on 6th July 1848 at Manchester Cathedral?
Thanks
Pippa

Wendy & Pippa
Will look these up next week.
Will gladly do lookups but not copies due to the time taken to find a machine etc. I will do copies for the 2 I have promised but I have to say they are very time consuming as I only get chance to go to do my own research one day a week.
Hope you all understand.

Thank you very much for doing the lookup for me. I only need the info not a copy. I hope it's not too inconvenient, I greatly appreciate your help.

Hi Aud,
Thank you for taking the time to look up my Duxburys, I know you are inundated with requests at the moment, so whenever you get the chance to copy the details is fine.
Good luck with your own research.

Hi Aud

I hope I am not going to give you a headache but I wonder if you could put your deerstalker on and do a bit of detective work for me. I have this baptism record;
23 March 1856 (born 8 August 1854) Harriet dau of Henry & Ellen McBRIDE,
Hulme, Joiner
This is from manchester cathedral I wondered if you could check out what it says about the marital status of the parents. I thought they didn't get married until 1859, I've been told that it wasn't uncommon for children to be born outside of marriage, they had two!! But, this transcription has them down as Henry and Ellen McBride(she was an Elliot).

If you do have time this would be great but I see you are a bit snowed under at the moment. Any folio reference would be great so I could send for a copy of the birth cert my self.

Regards Jane

Aud,

Thank you so much for looking, but I have to apologise profusely, I did have it wrong! I don't know where my brain was at the time. I wrote the 28th and on checking it is actually the 26th.

So if you have time next time you go. It is Catherine Ryan marriage to Thomas Taylor, 26th August 1867. Definately right this time I double checked!

I do have the 1871 to 1901 census if you need anything looked up there?

Thank you
Wendy :-[
