Just out of interest can anyone help to find anything about Thomas Jeffery-Jeffery- Jeffs prior to the 1851 census
I am wondering if Keziah wife of Tenant Buckland is his sister as he was born 1828 she was born  abt 1832

Or has anyone seen anything about either a Unity Wells or Janey Ganey Wells ?

This might help too
When Stanley Bryer & Penfold families took passage in 1856 on Osprey they did so from Scotland Glasgow
Which I find strange as most of Families went to USA via Liverpool

Hi RAMBLER yes I do have census and later too for familes
They are both families related to me on my Grans side STANLEY
Richard Stanley is brother of James Stanley who married Unity Wells althoughi have never found out who his wife Ellen was before marriage that would be interesting could be a Cooper ?

1871 Census  Daughter Unity Stanley on here marries Thomas Stanley
son of James Stanley  & Unity Wells
not sure if James & Mary Stanley listed is actually James & unity ?
But i know William with richard & ellen is actually James & unity son he was my Great Grandfather
I think that William Stanley actually married Betsey Stanley
Richard daughter so that would be my Great Grandparents

1881 Census you have there John Buckland which is actually Thomas he was son of Tenant & Keziah he married Phebe Stanley Richard & Ellen Stanley  daughter
also listed now is their daughter Unity married to Thomas Stanley
richard Stanley listed as nephew is richard & ellen son

found possible christening for Unity Wells
21st Oct Abbotsbury  Dorset
Parents Benjamin Wells & Mary
In 1856/7 when famlies are going to USa
Unity is listed with James Stanley her husband aged abt 20ish so this would fit her christening date the other fact is also with them was a Margaret Stanley which I think was James mother in her late 50s ( no husband listed)

Tiggi looking back at the Bloxham PR's it looks like it was a regular stopping off place for the gypsy families.
I have found these baptisms that if they don't help you may just help someone else.
13 Oct 1781 Henry son of Thomas Williams a strolling player.
6 Aug 1780 Major son of John Boswell a travelling gypsy.
14 Feb 1836 Jerusalem son of Joseph and Crazy Ann Smith gypsies travelling sojourners.
23 Aug 1840 Tenant son of Henry and Plentyness Organ travelling gypsies.

Parish records my forte!  LOL!  Please check the LDS library for the Parish and see if they have records for right time frame.  If so, order them sent to your local FHC.  I live for the films....

Sorry if this is old info you already know, Tiggi.
