no worries ... we are just so glad you are here ...   emails are not allowed , just to safe guard us against spam/ etc etc ... private messaging (PM) is easy to do ...either click on the person's name at the left , scroll down and it will say 'do you want to send a Private message ....or click on the ummm err thingie underneath the baby face on the left ... Blimey ... I am soo laughing at myself ..

Cookie we would love to know if you have anything you can add to the hunt once you have had a chance to have a good read and absorb it all - might take a while. We have all been enjoying the chase. It wasn't long ago Tiggi was the newbie here. She is now running her own hunt.  We eagerly await your input....Kris

Hi everyone sorry not posted for a while but I have to blend looking for dead people with looking after the living lol
My washing was piling & Ironing but I am lucky I have a very
 tolerant hubby that keeps me going with coffee and sandwiches so I can stay glued to my PC

I don;t know how long Tephra wants to keep this hunt going but would like to say MANY MANY THANKS TO EVERYONE WHO HAS JOINED IN ITS BEEN WONDERFUL AND I HAVE GAIN FROM IT
so its worth doing it there are so many willing people here who will help its wonderful

Right just to update : We are still looking for Tenant Buckland birth abt 1830/1 ( Unknown where)

His marriage when in USA he said they married 1861 (could be UK)
 They had a daughter Tryphena christened in 1852 St Blazey Cornwall ( parents were listed as Tenant & Keziah  found on familysearh.org )

Proof of surname for Keziah ?
 
Plato Buckland his brother born 1839 ( unknown)

Marriage I have confirmed

Thomas Buckland was son of Tenant & Keziah correct and married Phebe Stanley correct
 Yes family did go in 1904 to USA most likely last time

I would love to see anything you can add further to family as I know nothing really about Thomas and his children or where he is buried etc
 So if you could post here what you know then I can see if I can help you

Tiggi:  Sorry if I'm providing info you already have, but Deb asked me about Ohio marriage and, as I mentioned, I'm not finding anything in Ohio, so I thought you might not have the New York census info.

Do you have the passenger info on the BUCKLANDs coming to USA aboard "Carpathia" 28 Jun 1904?  There are a ton of them on that ship!
