Molly, you've probably done a lot more research on this but I'm new to the Kelly line and I do have some information for you.  I'm in Bermuda and my husband's uncle is a descendant of Joseph Kelly.  If you would send me your email I'd be happy to give you the information I have.

Thanks for writing, I would love to see some of the info you have on the Kellys.    If you would reply via this website it would make it a lot more convenient.
Molly

Sorry - just didn't want to duplicate all that you may have discovered in the last couple of years.  My husband's uncle is the great grandson of Joseph Kelly born in 1845 in Wemyss.  It looks as though Joseph's father was not in the picture by 1951 census and that Joseph was now the stepson of William Adams who was now married to Ann Baird.  In the 1961 Joseph is shown as the lodger in the Baird household - I think its more likely that he was the grandson of Mary & Alexander Baird (Ann's parents).

Joseph had half siblings - in the Adam's children.  Joseph married Jane McCormick and had 6 children.  One of their children James born in 1878 married Edith Henry (Hendry) and they had 7 children.

Molly - I'm new to the Rootschat and have just re-read all your entries and see what you are looking for and see that you have the info that I just gave you.  So, I'm afraid I haven't been much help - apologies.
