Im trying to find information regarding St Francis church where my grandmother married her first husband 31/12/1896
any information would be great.

The building is still standing ... I was looking at it today and speaking to someone who lives nearby. Although it has been converted into a civic centre the original church fittings including an altar are still in place and a shell covers them for the buildings current use.

thanks for the information. Do you know if  hallside street is still there and the other address I had was South Wellington
Street I am actually working between two familes at the moment so I am grateful for your information

thanks for the links as I said Im doing two familes at the moment and the information regarding the church are much apprecicated I am doing this from work at the moment when I get home tonight I will have a better chance to check it out

South Wellington Street was renamed Lawmoor Street.
According to a letter in the Scotland on Film forum there was a Hallside Street in Glasgow.  "I like to think that the time I had in the Gorbals was the best I had.  I stayed in Hallside Street until 1956.  We then had to move out to Drumchapel".
