Hi Jackie
Strange my wife's sister in law asked about Joseph Patrick Farron and his marriage in 1909 to Mary Winefred Durkin, born Holywell 1985.on Sunday.
We not seen wife's sister in law yet to ask permission to pass on any details yet.
I did a quick free search and found two Joseph Patrick Farron born liverpool one in 1885 who in 1901 aged 17 was a safe finisher, local to the area he was to live most of his life. which I believe is her grand father, the other born in 1874 is unlikely but not ruled out due to age.

before I order the certs would you have any info about the marriage I believe in the west derby register office.

thanks in advance Arthur.

Hello Arthur

My query was rather a long shot!! Having been told
by a family member that one of our Durkins moved to
Liverpool(another family story!!)
My Mary Durkin was born in 1881 at Bilston Staffs her
parents were James Durkin c.1842 Mayo + Mary Durkin c.1850 Ireland.(yes,a Durkin did wed another Durkin)
The only other info that made me think this could possibly
be our Mary was the birth regs.of Wlm + Winnifred Farron
in 1921, were they twins?- as there are twins on my Durkin
side + the name Winnifred was the confirmation name of
Mary's sister Bridget.

           Sorry to have waffled on!!!
                    Jackie.
