Liz,

Do you know the trade of your Patrick Farrell ? Could we possibly fit together by Patrick Farrell marrying twice ?

Or am I ahead a generation . Do you know your Patrick Farrells fathers name ?

Hi Megan, haven't got to Patrick's parents names yet as irish research is proving to be a bit difficult. On his Son Peter's marriage certificate his is listed as being a Farmer.

Liz,

I am having the same trouble with Ireland records. But Gerry and I have been trying to figure out how your line fits in to ours and how your Anthony and Patrick ended up living with Mary McPoland Farrell in 1901, widow of Peter Farrell.

I think you posted earlier that Anthony and Patrick were the sons of Peter Farrell and Ann Fagan ? Was this right ?

Hi Megan,

On the 1901 census we both have, Anthony is listed as another relative being there. That is my Anthony. He is only listed as a relative so he may have been visiting on the night of the census if they worked it the way they do now, that anyone in the household on the night of the census is counted. Now he was 22 then so he may be a cousin to the other children in the household.

Hi Liz,

Okay , I think I am getting it now. So the Anthony on the Census belongs to you but not the other boy Patrick.

Sorry I got confused !!

Megan, it's not a problem at all. It gets a bit that way after a while. As we speak I'm trying to find info on my Peter and Anthony's parents coz I think that's where you and I may link.

Hi Liz,

Been running this through in my head trying to work it out.

Your relation Peter Farrell was married to Mary Fagen - Children and burials etc as previous posts.
Anthony is Peters Brother as seen by the parents names on his marriage cert and he marries Sarah Powell 1905.

Patrick is also a brother of Peter and Anthony as I have found his marriage cert, He marries Sarah Powells sister Ellen in 1907 here the parents are clearer and its Patrick Farrell Farmer & Ann Hepburn.

Your in luck as when I went looking for William & Agnes farrells grave I noted down the Farrell gravestones that I saw and I can tell you that they are buried in St Pats Cemetery in new stevenson details on the headstone read-

In loving memory of Patrick farrell Husband of Ellen powell Aged 76yrs Died 04.04.1955
And Ellen powell Died 21/12/1963 Aged 78yrs.

I work with the council and have a friend in the cemeteries office so I will ask thm to look at the lair register and see if there is anyone else in that lair. Also i will pop back up and get you a photograph of the headstone.

I would love to hear from you to see what else you have and to see if we can find the missing link between all these farrells.

Thank you so much Gerry,

All of the info you have stated is true and correct. That has clarified a few things as I have Patrick Marrying Ann Heffron or Hevrin spelling unclear. I only know definately about Peter and Anthony. Not knowing where either were born has brought me to a complete stand still (Except they were born in Ireland).

Any photos or added info is greatly appreciated.

By the way, you're not related are you ;) :D
