Hi Deb

Keeping my fingers crossed and assuming his dad will be Edward - I found this marriage on the IGI at www.familysearch.org

EDWARD. DORRICOTT   Spouse:  ANN CROWTHER
Marriage:  18 JUL 1831   Saint Julian, Shrewsbury

Hi, have at last got the marriage cert for Thomas and Emma, and yep, you were right, His father is Edward :) thank you all so much for your help, Thomas's age on the cert points to him being born in 1836, so the search is on !!

There are still dorricotts in broseley now i believe they are ancestors of the dorricotts from the foxholes the location of the foxholes is just up the hill from ironbridge it was just a row of derelict houses when i was a kid.
