My London Surnames

Hi everyone
           Here are some of my surname interests,
           Mace,Moseley,Fisher,Reeves,Lee,Murphy,Hodgkins Rusby,most of the names are from East London,West Ham to Mile End.
                  Colleen
Mace,Reeves,Lee,Murphy,Hodgkins,Rusby,Mail,Burdett,Moseley.Howes,approx 1000 names in tree.
                                                                           places;West Ham,Canning Town,Poplar, Bow,Stepney,counties include,Norfolk Essex,London,Middlesex,Kent,Staffordshire,Yorkshire,also Mace ,Rusby and others in USA.

What years does your research currently cover ? have you located them in any of the census returns yet ??

   My research so far goes back to around the 1800's but there are a few gaps on some surnames, at present i have about 506 names in various stages right to the present day.

i have lee in my family tree,my lee family came from west ham . my grandmother was phoebe lee dob may 29 1885 dod mar 23 1969 barking essex. her parents were henry lee dob 1856 mother was sarah alsford. henry lee his father was william lee.     children of henry lee and sarah alsford william henry born 1881 west ham. henry thomas born 1883 west ham. phoebe born 1885 west ham. alfred born 1888 west ham. daisy born 1891 west ham. mabel born 1898 west ham.

Are your Rusbys originally from London.  I have Rusbys but all in Yorkshire, though I know of one who moved to London.

Any information on  birth or marriage of -
James FOLEY, a shoemaker abt. 1839 onwards
Possibly died 1 April 1853, St Giles

Father of Thomas James FOLEY b 4 December 1839, Houndsditch, Aldgate

AND/OR,
information on Thomas' mother -
 Ann McGLAUGHLAN
