1841/51/61 census - Tenterden/Rolvenden

Hi

Has anyone access to the 1841, 1851 and 1861 censuses for the Rolvenden/Tenterden areas in Kent? I am looking for

Alfred Greenhill on the 1841 census as he was not at home on the night of the census and

Rachel Greenhill born approx 1815
Alfred Greenhill
Mary Greenhill born approx 1834
Elizabeth Greenhill born approx 1836
Alfred Greenhill born approx 1838
Joseph Exall Greenhill born 1841

on the 1851 and 1861 censuses.

Hi Caroline,

I'll have a scan through the 1841 census for Tenterden & Rolvenden areas that I have on CD for you.  The only Greenhill family I've transcribed so far doesn't match with Alfred - but there are still lots of names that I haven't transcribed as yet.

Unfortunately I can't seem to find the Alfred you're looking for in the census's that I have access to.   

However, here are the details of all the Greenhills that I did manage to find - the first one appears to be the main family.

If you could look in the Rolvenden and Tenterden areas for Greenhills or Exalls i would be very appreciative. If you can only concentrate on one, Rolvenden would be my preference.

Hi, It is interesting to find about greenhill family of Rolvenden, which leads to me to ask about Alfred Greenhill father which I belief it to be Thomas Bagley Greenhill. So far I haven't found the right connection, yet.eg a second source of way of finding out. I know that Thomas is buried in the Rolvenden cemetery. Would anyone have any information it would be great appreciation. Aussiegreen.

Hello,
I found this when looking for Rose Greenhill, who was, nee Osborne.  She was the wife of Thomas Bayley Greenhill occupation Miller of Rolvenden.  Rose was the neice of Samuel Bishop who lived at Loosenham House in Newenden and she was named in his will of 1835.  Rose and Thomas had a son Alfred, awa children Marianne, Maria, Thomas and Edward.  I have information regarding Rose and her family.
