Recently I discovered someone has a connection with Benjanin and Charles Groom both bormn in Pulham St Mary. They are my gg grandad and ggg grandad. I am trying to find out who the parents of Charles Groom were. He was born apprx 1770 died 1851, married Mary Brooks 26 dec.

Would love to try to help but not understanding your request.   It's a little late @ nite,  so maybe I'm muddled.........

If Charles Groom  (1770-1851) w/ wife Mary is the father of Benjamin  and you have them born in Pulham St. Mary,  wouldn't you be looking for Charles' parents likely born in England

What is the Utah connection??

I see you posted on the Norfolk board and Mum44 responded but I didn't see any response to the information she found.   There is also a "Cyndy"  seeking what seems to be the same Charles Groom recently on the Norfolk board.   Maybe you 2 should compare notes???

The IGI has a Charles Groom with dates/locale very close to yours but it is a member submission with no details so I would consider the lead very suspect.

Hi Lisa, Sorry if you were confused but as i understood the person in Utah was originally from England, Despite all my efforts i have not found Charles mother and father, I have today had someone searching church records at Norwich, and am awaiting there findings. fingers crossed.
