Hi i am trying to find any information on my great grandmother- Annie Cullen who married James Carey in 1887. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated. Thanks

Hello Tanib,
There were quite a number of families by the names of Carey and Cullen in Dublin at the time of Griffiths Valuation of Ireland being recorded in the City (1848-51). Both families also lived in the same parish. The search might be easier if there are a couple of common Christian names that have been in the family for a few generations.

Hello Tanib,
Try to get hold of a copy of a book called " It's a Long Way from Penny Apples " by Bill Cullen published in paperback by Mercier Press 2002. It tells about the years Bill and siblings grew up in Dublin and how he rose to his present position in life.
