HI Clair

Have had a good search and absolutely nil for either Lionel or Vera using all variations of spelling for HAINS.

Cheers

Hi Clair,

Not sure if these are the right ones for you but here's what I found in 1936:

Maxwell Robert Haines, 3 Rich Street Abbotsford - assembler
Vera May Haines, 3 Rich Street Abbotsford - textile worker.

Cheers,
Glenn

Thanks for that. I looks pretty likely as I am sure that Vera made clothes.

Clair,

Lionel Francis Hains was my GF, and it sounds like you've done a bit of research on the Hains side.  Can you tell me where you fit in?   I think I saw "Percy" but referring to Percy Robert of Percy Frederick?

BTW I went to Vera May's funeral yesterday.

Russ Haines.
