Norfolk wills, 1600's
« on: Wednesday 06 February 08 22:21 GMT (UK) »
I am searching for the wills of the following persons:
Thomas Wilde d. 1618 Thimbelthorpe & Wood Dalling
Thomas Wilde d. 1647 Themelthorpe (same as Thimbelthorpe)
Anne Wilde (his wife) d. 1647 Themelthorpe
Joanna Slipper d. 1688 Sprowston
I looked for these wills on microfilm at the Family History Library in Salt Lake City, Utah, but without any success.  Any help from someone in England would be very much appreciated.

I can see quite a few Wildes in The Norfolk Record Office's catalogue http://nrocat.norfolk.gov.uk/Dserve/dserve.exe?dsqServer=128.60.0.31&dsqApp=Archive&dsqDb=Catalog&dsqCmd=Search.tcl I know they will send copies to addresses in England but I don't know about America  ???

They send copies all over the world, but I think they only have Norwich Consistory Court wills on the online catalogue. Archdeaconry of Norwich and Archdeaconry of Norfolk indexes still have to be searched the old fashioned way, which the Record Office will do for a search fee.
