George Biggs

 Would like a look up for George Biggs born 1854 in Bristol ( could be Clifton ) to John Biggs c 1811 Hampshire.

I have him with a Annie in 891 and kids but in1881 she is Mary.A Biggs  Can anyone help with a surname for Annie and a marriage date please.

Also can anyone see George's father after1871. John and his wife Emily are living with Rosina (24)who is described as an invalid who unfortunately I think I found in the workhouse in 1881.

george biggs age 18 b. st ludes?,bristol.
he is a soldier in the kings own royal regt.
1st battalion and depot 38.
he is in aldershot,hampshire
reg,dist. farnham.

there is a george edwin biggs marriage to a mary ann galvin or fanny hibbs in 1881 in bristol.
1881/april/may/jun/6a/90.
the census was taken on the 3rd april 1881
not sure if that would cover this marriage.

Thanks all. Wozzle Mary Ann Galvin fits well at least now I can get a marriage cert and see if Georges father was still alive at that time. I'll leave this open for now.

Hi Wozzle, I have just sent for two other certificates from other queries in the Biggs family and as I try and limit my funds per month, I probably won't order it until the end of the month, but of course I will let you know the outcome. Clare
