not sure which part of Yorkshire

Help needed,
in 1871 William C Martin, aged 42. was living in Lancaster.with his wife Elise who came from Jersey.
it say's he was born Yorkshire , Aidwickale st ???

I wonder if anyone could point me in the right direction to find him on earlier census's .

In 1861 I think that it says he is from Doncaster

RG9/1401 Folio 68 Page 50

If that is the same couple

ps It also says Doncaster on the 1901 census for this person

if you look on www.genuki.org.uk gazetteer at Doncaster, you'll see that in the 'nearby places' there's Adwick Le Street about 4 miles away
