Hi ive been reading the old posts of which you have posted I too am doing Buckley research and it appears you have lots of the same info as myself, ive hit a wall regarding my grt gran whose father was Solomon Lee she was known as Hannah /Annie Lee she married Duriah/Duey Buckley but to my frustration I have no mother for her, there is only one one sibling left on my mothers side which is her brother he is now in his late 70s and remembers very little now.The marriage I have for Duriah and Hannah only gives fathers name, I do have memories from my grt gran Buckley and a treasured photo but would love to have more to share with my uncle my, if you can shed any light on my research that would be great.
just to say that  i do have some info on lee's but would like to know what census details you already have to save me time from searching through my papers. i also have some very good books that have alot of lee info. one thing i am finding so far is that she didnt always have the surname of lee, it was also hannah biddington...did you know that already? i will wait to hear from you from email :)

Hi there,

I've only just found this site today but I think I can help, Perun Buckley was my Gt, Gt Grandfather (1857-1931) He married an Emily Turner.
His parents are Santalena Buckley (1837) and Henrietta Boswell, they did indeed have many children including Perun. I don't have all thier names but there is Pender (1866), Adalaide/Adeline (1868), Lazurus (1871), Oti (1864) plus more that I have yet to find out thier names.
"Ricky John" (John James aka Loumas) Buckley was my Gt. Grandfather and my Grandfather was Alfred Buckley (08/10/1919) He married Eileen Bolton (b.1922) and I remember her saying that my Grandad was one of 18 children, I remember some of them from when I met them as a child and other names from family stories.
It all gets very confusing as they used different names all the time and some I only know their nicknames but I'll be glad to help if I can.

While i'm on the subject does anyone have any info on Menty? I only know she was Loveridge before she married Ricky John but I have no parents or siblings. Can any one help?

Great that you have found a relative, but just a cautionary word.

As we are dealing with data from living people here can I remind you all to use the PM system for fuller details :)

sabbathuk,  welcome to RootsChat :)

Hello again and thankyou for the welcome's!  :)

I have managed (after many years) to trace my bloodline back to Joe and Laiza Buckley so I've made all the connections, now I'm filling in the rest and it's no easy task is it? I am totally bogged down with information and struggling to get it in any sort of order....and I have'nt even started on the Loveridge's yet!

The PM is a great idea, I did'nt realise I could do that, now I just have to figure out how to work it.....

Hi Donna,

I hope there is enough information about PMs in the help pages, but if not, then just ask, and someone will provide an answer.

The PMs are useful for exchanging personal data and data about living people, but   otherwise we encourage everyone to reply on topics, as you never know who else is interested or who will find the site through the "public" data (as you did :) ).
