It's rather strange Tati ...

On IGI there are no Henry WALTER bapt in Bradford , There is , however this from IGI:

Henry HANCOCK
23 Jan 1803 , Bradford
mother , Ann Hancock

I wonder if his dad was Mr Walter ?

Mary Grace was registered as Walter too (1839), and she seems to marry as Mary Grace Walter in 1859. There's a possible death for Ann Walter Bideford 1854. Maybe Hancock is just a red herring ...

Buckland Brewer = Reg dist Bideford, sub reg ..Parkham

So if Charlotte was born in Buckland Brewer ..she would have been registered in Bideford...  but in 1841 and 1851 the family are all in Bradworthy ...do you think registration districts were different then .....

I will check 1841 censuses to see .... arrghhh ..getting confused !

re; Hancock ...henry was christened a HANCOCK by his mum , Ann ...I think his dad was a Walter ... I wonder if Ann, the mum , married him evetually ... rather interesting .
Also why use Walter as a surname except in 1861?

1871

Sutcombe
Higher Verworthy

Richard Brimacombe head unm 49 farmer 40 acres
William brother 44 farmer's assistant
John  brother 40           "
William Edward nephew 10   Titus' dad

Now who does William Edward belomg to ...possibly John as he was next door in all the other censuses ...also John  (b 1830) is married to Ruth in 1881 and they have a 2 year old son ...so possibly John was married prior and Charles (b 1879) may be William edward's step brother.

Good one Tati ...i was getting really confused then ... ;D

Back to William Edward Brimacombe b 1860... he is the dad of Titus who is the dad of Isobelle ...

we don't know who his dad is ... Could be any of the brothers ...

in 1861
Sutcombe 3 Verworthy
Rebecca Brimacombe head wid farmer 47 acres ..b Cornwall , kilkhampton
Richard son unm 39...he looks like he inherrited the farm
William son unm 35
John son 30...he is the one always in the vicinity during the censuses , and married Ruth
Charles son unm 27
Edward son unm 20

This gives us no clue as the William Edward's dad ....
unless he is Edward's b1841, son ...with his name as the middle name .
