William Frederick Macey

   I am after a look up. I have on a marriage cert a William Frederick Macey married to Florence Biggs. 1898
  William is given as 25 yrs so born approx. 1872/3 and that his father was Frederick Macey (deceased) a brickmaker. William on Census 1901 is said to have been born in Bristol but I can't find him with his father as a young boy.

Any help with locating him and his father together or William's birth would be good. Thanks as always Clare

The nearest I find is a boy born in 1869.

In 1871, he's at his grandmother's as well, along with his mother Hannah Macey, mar, 24, dau of Ann Arnold.

             Found a William in 1891 in Stapleton Glouc as a lodger age 18 b Bristol.

Cant be certain this is your family but age is right

  Thanks for the responses, They all look quite promising despite the obvious problem with William Fredericks ages in these census' given the age of 25 on his marriage cert. However I will follow these up.

Update
  Received the birth cert for William Frederick Macey, in 1868 as suggested by Helina. Mother is Hannah Macey previously Arnold and father Frederick  Macey. I am still a bit concerened about the age difference when William marries Florence he is said to be 28 but this birth would make him born about 1870 and not 1868. However I think it's possible that Florence was not yet 18 either and in fact amy only have been 16.
 Anyway I am going to go with this one for now and hope it works out okay. Thanks for all your help
