Thomas, son of James Burn of Cheswick, apprenticed to
John Turner of Berwick 13 January 1703.  Admitted Freeman 3rd February 1710

Could anyone give me further information about this please? I haven't got a clue where to start.

Perhaps you would do better putting this post on the Northumberland board.  Berwick upon Tweed is in England - not Berwickshire.  I know its confusing but thats how its been since the 15th century.
