I think that line is something like: in life, close to [something], in death, close to God.

But iuncta Deo is not grammatically correct - it should be iuncta deus. I think. :-\

Tenses and declensions were always my downfall.. I got "Ungraded" for my Latin O'Level, I'm afraid :-[.
