Hi Dennis

Welcome to rootschat !  :)

On IGI there is an ectracted record for your Joseph Osbourne.

IGI
Joseph Osbourne
christened  17 Nov 1695, St Dennis
parents~ Richard Osbourne and Beatrix

The John Osbourne christened 08 OCT 1692   Saint Dennis , is the son of PHILEMON OSBORNE .

Maybe Philemon and Richard are brothers ... not sure of this ....

there are 2 other children to a Richard and Bettres/beatrix ...but are not in St Dennis.

There are christenings for Richard Osbourne (b c 1660 , died 28 NOV 1707) and a Philemon Osbourne (b c 1670 St Dennis) both sons of Richard Osbourne and Constance Mitchell. These are both submitted entries.

Hi Dennis,

There are a couple of probable siblings born in St Dennis, extracted records listed on the IGI

Benjamin OSBORNE 16 Dec 1687 St Dennis Father Richard
Richard OSBORNE 14 Feb 1689 St Dennis Father Richard

It gets very difficult when you have been fortunate enough to get back so far. Interestingly re St Dennis Marriages, I note the name Orsborne appears

Philemon ORSBORNE = Susanna WOODMAN 23 Aug 1691 St Dennis

John ORSBORNE = Mary HOAR 25 May 1719 St Dennis

John ORSBORNE = Elizabeth CLEMAS 3 Jun 1734 St Dennis

Joseph ORSBORNE = Ann BELLING 20 Oct 1744 St Dennis

Philemon ORSBORNE = Mary BLIGHT 26 Jul 1747 St Dennis

Richard ORSBORNE = Elizabeth GRIGG 15 Oct 1749 St Dennis

John ORSBORNE = Mary GRIGG 12 Oct 1751 St Dennis.

I have been unable to find a marriage for Richard and Bettres/Beatrix I am afraid, nor a marriage for Richard and Constance Mitchell.

I note the marriage between Joseph and Eliz was in St Enoder

Joseph OSBORNE = Eliz LAW 17 Dec 1717.

Cheers Kris  :D
