Abney Park cemetery is probably quite a distance from where most of the Essex Rootchatters live or work.
Have you visited the cememtery's website? If you google 'Abney Park Cemetery' it should be top of the pile. They take photos etc for you for a fee....

have you looked at the following web site

there is a map of the plots & a surname search.

I have visited the site looking for My DOOREY family. Abney Park is now a nature reserve, so unless your family member had a large memorial, they are very hard to find, but it's is a very tranquil & peaceful place to visit, you soon forget you in the middle of London.
