Hi Linnett

Cant find either Wm or Martha in 51, in view of thier ages they could be deceased unless you have them on a future census  :-\

Hi there

There is a William Park who is married but living alone living in Blackwell village in the 1851.

He is aged 56 and he is an Ag Lab from Croft in Yorkshire.

Ref: HO107/2382/~F434

Martha aged 57  is listed separately but still in the village living with Thomas 12, James 8 (marked as her son??) and two visitors called Armstrong.  All three Parks are from Blackwell

HO107/2382/~F434 as well.

Hi

Thanks very much for your time and effort

The William Park from Croft is definitely right because I have his son William as being born in Croft. Looks like all the rest is correct too

Thanks a lot

Linnet

Do you have the full 1841 Blackwell census, the one I can see lists 3 more children, John 15, Mary 11 & Joseph 7 as well as Henry & Thomas

From the 1851 Martha is rather old to have a son aged 8 - I wonder if he could be Mary's?

Martha is still alive in 1861 living with her sons Joseph 27 and Henry 24.  She is a widow and the two lads are labourers and unmarried.

Two doors away is a William Park aged 35 born Blackwell with his wife (30) Jane born Newcastle and children named by initials:
M.A - female aged 6
M.M. - female aged 3
Jn. A - male aged 1
