Thank you Ruskie... and of course everyone esle .. yes it is one of those moments that dont ever happen  ;) but it did to me  :)  Thank you for all your help in the early search of Watts Yard..I passed  the area the other day going into Oxford by bus (top deck of course) looking at No.29 made me shiver..so much history in that one house..if only one could go back in time a hundred years for a day  ::)

Bet you can't believe your luck. It must have been meant to be!

(I feel like that too. I'd LOVE to go back 100 years!)

I have uploaded pictures of the first and second bible with artifacts found on my tribal pages website..if anyone is interested in looking at them please send me a private message and I will allow access.  Once again thanks to all...somehow though I think the story is far from over  ;)

Hi Guys
Watts Yard rings bells for some reason. I researched one of my family lines (Crappers of St Giles and Summertown) a number of years ago, and spent weeks in the Oxford archives/local history library.
I'll dig out my notes and have a search. There was always mention of Crappers Yard (underneath Keble college), I'll look up Watts Yard.
