Does anyone know anything about a William Morgan born 1822 Bermondsey St Mary Magdelene married to an Elizabeth 1824 born in Plymouth Devon.  Williams son Leonard Charles Morgan was my great grandfather although he was born in Rotherhithe.  Thanks.

Hi Jane  I am looking to find as many details as possible about William.  I would like to know the name of his wife and mother to Leonard Charles Morgan who was my great grandfather.  He is my favourite ancestor with a very shady past.  I believe Williams parents were william and sarah elizabeth, which I have just found out but I would be very grateful for further information.

I honestly think the best way to go with this is to buy Leonards birth cert which will give his mothers maiden name as we dont even know what county they were married in and there are an awful lot of William Morgan/Elizabeth marriages to choose from..
