hi am trying to find out about jessie satherley born 1750 abt. in kingsbury esiscopi, i have been told she was satherley but some information i got a while ago which i have just looked at says she married a silas talbot born abt. 1756  does any one have a answer can give more info if needed. jessie was my gr/gr/gr/gr-grandmother

dont know if this info may help as i have been given these names
george talbot 1706- married a mary bristow
james talbot 1732
silas talbot 1733 posssibly married mary pittard born 1736
parents of mary george pittard and ann stonhard
silas talbot 1756
jessie satherley 1750
as i said do not know the connection between the talbots and jessie

If you try freereg, there are some details for Silas Talbot in marriages 1) 1754 marriage to Mary PITTARD, 2) 1786 marriage to Mary MALE . Nothing on there though for any Satherley baptisms / marriages in any parish 1700s

If she was born c 1750 she would be 40 when he was born.

Familysearch Pilot Pedigree Files has that she never Married Silas Talbot and Married a William GERRARD about 1795.

so this is how I have worked it out...

Silas married Mary Male in 1786, her death has not been found. 1793 Emanuel Talbot was born.
But Jessie Satherley named Silas as the father of her son Edmond Satherley born 1790.Edmond did not get his fathers name, maybe because Silas was married to someone else at the time?
In January 1795 Jessie married William Gerrard, 1796 William Gerrard (jnr) was born.

Also I have Jessie born 1770?

I am ashamed to say I do not know the history of it, but the French Revolution was happening at the time, would that have impacted on them??
