Would someone lookup 1871 census Liverpool
Looking for Robert Hope and wife Elizabeth nee McDonald.
In 1867 they were living at  51Warren Street when they married (1859) Robert was a joiner as was his father also Robert Hope.Still at Warren Street
Elizabeth was a widow at time of marriage ( previous marriage ? Mc Donald. Her father was Thomas Caesar ? Garrah Mariner.

Many thanks. Yes I believe this is family. I have now discovered the age of Elizabeth as on her marriage certificate in 1859 it just states "full" age. She was therefore approx 34yrs when she married. I have been researching my great grandfather Robert Hope for many years. I am now sure that he led a double life and had "2" families. In 1871 he had a family in Gateshead. A long story. On marriage certificate it says he was a joiner?? all records I have of him say he was an engineer?? The fact that after the name of Elizabeth it says her marital status was w/m ? sounds unsure. I will carry on to find more records.
