I asked my friend and she said there was Co-operative Buildings in Prestwich ( that looked a bit like that ! ) that used to do receptions .... but wasn't sure of dates !!  :) :) :)

Prefab bildings in Heaton Park as I recall were the round nissen hut shape.

Thanks a million folks :( I've just had a nap after the Herculean effort of remembering the Hotel and now you mention prefabs :( Yeah, they are in the old grey cells somewhere. And the round nissen shape ones have something to do with James Herriot - It shouldn't happen to a vet :o

All I have to do is remember :o

I think they were on Butterstile Lane.
