Do not know what area they came from. Josph McGlade was married in 1872 but I do not know where as the handwriting is illegible. Thanks for replying.

There are quite a few McGlades and MeGlades in the Antrim area - with Palmers Harpers and Hunters to name a few.  If you give more family names someone may be able to help make a connection.
Palmer Website: www.davyboynorth.f2s.com/SamPalmer/00]SamPalmerStory.asp
Palmers, Barrs and McGarrys from Antrim/Ballyrobin/Muckamore/Crumlin
McAleaveys from Forkhill Co Armagh and then Whitewell/Glengormley
Traynors/Trainor from Larne then Whitewell/Glengormley also Glasgow

My McGlade ancestor came from Portadown, Co. Armagh.  He emigrated (early 1850s) to Perth, Lanark Co., Ontario, Canada.  He may be related to some McGlades who ended up in Ohio.
