Russell I am not sure if I have contacted you in the past. I have a Jonathan and Mary Ord's deaths in my family bible. Jonathan's death was 12 Jun 1845 and Mary's 4 Sep 1847 and by their age on the death certificates Jonathan was born c1769 and Mary c1768. The informant on Jonathan's certificate was Margaret Hutchison and on Mary's the coroner as she had died from burns by clothing catching fire by candle. The only census they are on is the 1841 so there is no place of birth to follow up on. Their deaths were both shown as Holly Hill, Heworth.
Other names in the bible are Sanderson, Lowery, Lowrey, Coats, Coates, Lonsdale and Oliver.

Does any of this match with any of your information.

John

Russell;
             My Great Uncle,John Barnwell married a Mary Ann Ord in Bishop Auckland.The marriage was in the 1870's. Their oldest son and daughter immigrated to the USA between 1902 and 1909.
                          I have no idea who Mary Ann's parents were.
