Hi

The NSW bdm's are online
http://www.bdm.nsw.gov.au/familyHistory/search.htm

There does not appear to be a death registration for Pryse with parents Donald and Christina - even a search for just Pryse as a first name alone brings a zero result.

No marriage either.  Found :D

Here is a link to the Casino Cemetery but it doesn't have any online data only an address.
http://www.ozgenonline.com/aust_cemeteries/nsw/richmond_valley/casino.htm

Here is a link to an index that includes a burial database for Casino Cemetery
http://www.richhistory.org.au/indexes.htm

I am not sure if all the Casino burials are on the database - may be a good idea to follow up with an enquiry to the address on the ozgenonline site

What supporting evidence do you have that  Pryse's died in Casino, NSW - just curious :)

Cheers

Hi According to Scotlandspeople a Pryse MacKillican died 10.12.1907 at Glenlyon, Nairn, Scotland, aged 78. He was a farmer, single. Parents recorded as John MacKillican, farmer (deceased) and Margaret Clark (deceased). He died from pneumonia (influenzial).  Informant was James Lamb, Law Agent, National Bank Buildings, Nairn.  Age at death is slightly out, but may have been guesswork on the part of the informant.  Do you think this might be your man? He is certainly not in the NSW death records.

Hi again

Just about to give this away then found

 Reg No 5933       1896
MACKELLICAN     Mary A     Parents Unknown    District CASINO

Reg  No 7374   1935
MACKELLICAN    David   65 YRS LEWISHAM HOSP         District PETERSHAM

David would have been born c 1870 - could be a son of Pryse and Mary.

You can purchase a transcript of the certificates from a transcription agent - quicker and cheaper than purchasing a cert.
