Hello all,

I am told by my family that emigration to England from the ROI in the 1930's was allowed only if the individual had an offer of work in England.  This was allegedly arranged via the local Labour exchange.  Would these records still exist?  Grandfather left Sligo Town for Coventry prior to WW2.
