Hi
Do you know whether or not the family were Church of Scotland ? If not that would explain why no OPR for the baptisms on Scotland's People. Pre 1855 that's all SP holds. The records for other churches including Free and United Presbyterians are all held by National Archives Scotland but tho digitised not online am afraid.
it is worth contacting NAS to see if they can help
http://www.nas.gov.uk/Tho odd that two of her siblings appear on Scotland's People.
born 31/03/1839 SHERET ANDREW Parents WILLIAM SHERET& MARGARET DUNDAS Montrose
born 01/10/1837 SHERET HELEN Parents WILLIAM SHERET& MARGARET DUNDAS F Montrose
But it could just be they changed allegiance church wise. There was a lot of upheaval in the Scottish churches around this time with merging and splintering off.
The attached shows what I mean! A real dog's brekkie!
