Hi , Looking for info re. Ellen Hickam family. She married Aleaxander Bentham 1820 Wigan and any details of Alexanders parents he was born Croston Chorley area.

Hi Carole W, Yes I have that information I am now looking for Ellen and Alexanders Parents. I visited the Preston records office without making any progress.

Hi,

The 1861 census says Alexander was born Parbold.  So it may be worth checking out the Parish registers there.
