Hi Everyone,

Just a quick update on the Scofield Family.

Have received birth cert for Charlotte Warwick . Father Charles Samuel Warwick Jeweller  mother Elizabeth Schofield(note the spelling). So that little mystery solved . Can add another little branch to my Scofield family thanks to your help.

Incidently GRO very quick with sending out certificate. Although I notice no Switzerland stamp on it this time.

Hi all,

I am also researching the Scofield family from Leek Wooten, later to become Campsea Ashe, Suffolk.
I am looking for information on Joseph B 1782, died 1870, mainly his parents, i think they are Joseph and Hannah.
From what i can see Joseph was born Leek Wotten but moved to Suffolk which is where him and his wife died.
Their son, Edward born 1808 married Helen in 1839 in Suffolk, this is where my line comes from, they the family ended up back in the W Midlands around 1860.
Any information would be great.

Hope this message finds everyone well

Over 10 Years has passed and I still have not been able to find the parents of Joseph Scofield b1806 Coventry.  A few trees on ancestry have his mother as Hannah Scofield b 1786 Leek Wooton but I have been unable to confirm this with a paper trail.

I wonder if any of the people who originally contributed to this thread had any luck
