Which Woolfardisworthy do you mean the one near Crediton, or the one near Bideford.
If its the one near Crediton then I could probably get a photo for you.

I'd be interested in one of West Woolfardisworthy (Nr Bideford) As we have a direct ancestor James BALE baptised there 1689/90 That is All Hallows The one by Crediton is Holy Trinity

The name I am looking into is WATTS ,who married  A lady by the name of Shepard , Jules2  I think it is the All Hollows one I am looking for,  :)

Thank you so much Terryleaman. Those pew ends remind me very much of the carvings on this "empty tomb" in our Church here I must get to see them sometime to compare the carving My photo isn't particularly good but it has panels about the Passion including the ladder and spear and sponge
Fascinating.
Shame Eileen we don't seem to have the same names but I'll keep a look out for you next time we go to Devon
