James McDevitt and Bridget Toner are in Ballygallan in 1901 and 1911
http://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~donegal/1901Ballygallan.htm

According to 1911 census they had 10 children all of whom were alive in 1911

IGI index Corneilus McMonagle and Susan Toner
                Edward b. Oct 6 1879

Susan , a widow, is on Glencar Scotch 1901 census.
Corneilus Jnr. immigrated 1907 to his sister Mary in Philadelphia

Just as an FYI

Peter and Cornelius emigrated together to the USA. They can be found on a passenger listing for the Columbia that arrived in New York on December 30, 1907.

Cornelius was age 20 - Barman
Peter was age 25 - Labourer

Their contact in Ireland was James McMonagle, Glencar, Letterkenny, Co. Donegal.
Their sister Mary McMonagle was living at 2312 Walnut Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

I also found a possible match for Edward McMonagle in the 1901 Scotch census:

Edward McMonagle
age 22
abt 1879
Boarder
25 Warwick Street, Gorbals, Glasgow, Lanarkshire
Occupation: Tramway Car Driver

Hello,
I know a lot of info.has being exchanged.
However it might be useful to note that there is a genealogy centre for Donegal.
It is Donegal Ancestry Ltd,The Quay, Ramelton,Co.Donegal.
Tel. code + 74 915 1266
This is within a few miles of Letterkenny.

Drumrooske, mentioned in one of the messages is a townland in the parish of Killymard, adjacent to Donegal Town, about 30 miles south of Letterkenny.

I am sorry but my email address is not working

Have you seen the fees they charge? (please don't click on the link if you have a weak heart as the shock might be too much!)
