St Mary Whitechaple Baptism - John FIDDES
« on: Wednesday 26 December 07 16:35 GMT (UK) »
Hello Fudgecake

It would be so helpful to me if you could look up the baptism of 4x great grandfather JOHN FIDDES born between 1795-1798. In later census it has been stated that he was either born in Chelsea or Whitecapel. After much searching I have found no records in Chelsea... let's hope for some luck in Whitechapel.  :-\

If you come across any FIDDES names in your search I would be very interested in any details.  :)

Thank you so much for your offer. :D
Best wishes
Amanda

Hello FudgeCake

Thank you so much for your help.
Although I have not come across a Joseph Thomas Fiddes or indeed a Job, I am sure the "Fidder"  listing is a derivative of Fiddes. I will keep these details and hope eventually I can link them to my tree . :)

Thanks
