Hi I am searching any info on the above man. The only connection he has with my family tree is the same surname name. A very helpful American lady helped me fill some missing links in my own family tree and asked me to keep an eye / ear out for any mention of her gg-grandfather, Nimrod William DART was born about 1806 in Maryland. He is found on the 1850 census where his birth place was stated. He is not on the 1860 or 1870 census and it maybe he died in or around 1871 in Arkansas. There is no information as to who his parents were but thought they could have emigrated from Europe(?).
