Clacks at Shilton?

I have tracked a couple of generations of my Clack ancestors to Clanfield, but Henry (b.abt 1700) was not christened there.
On my OFHS parish record CD, it is mentions that some Clacks came from Langford and Little Clanfield and others from Shilton.

Sadly Shilton is not on my CDs, so would someone kindly check and see if Henry Clack is mentioned there?
He married Margaret and had moved to Clanfield by 1723, where 3 chidren were christened......
I've found Clacks all over the Clanfield area; Bampton, Blackbourton, Brize Norton, Filkins etc, but have not found dear Henry yet?

Hi, Checked records for Shilton and the only Henry Clack was christened 20th July 1712 son of Thomas and Martha.
There are quite a few Clack records in Shilton, if you would like these let me know.

I would very much like to know which Clacks were at Shilton.

I shall have to make another trip up to the Oxfordfordshire Centre one day, as there is family littered all over South Oxfordshire and the part that was Berkshire.....  but the distance makes it awkward.

It is unfortunate that one cannot choose which parishes one gets on the OFHS CDs.... many of the nearby parishes are included, whilst others are left out?
I have Clanfield, but not Bampton, Blackbourton and Broadwell...... I have Westwell, but not Shilton.....
It's great to have access to the records via CD, but not the same as living near enough to visit.....

I was looking through the IGI batch numbers today, using he 1841 census as a guide and found another group of Clacks at Broadwell
It seems a much bigger task than I anticipated, trying to find out who belongs to whom, as they all use the same family names for their offspring?
Ah well, my earliest Clack record is 1688 (at Clanfield) so far, so your Shilton ones sound interesting.

Hi,
I am from the Shilton Clacks. I have done work on the tree and am quite happy to share any info you wish.
There is an issue with Philips! (too many of them!!) and some of the records were either flooded or burnt some time ago, which makes things very difficult to prove.
please do message me if you would like more.

Hi, I have recently found a link to get me further back with my Clack's in Shilton.
So on my paternal line I have gone back to a Philip Clack bn 1654 (approx) and his family. Wife Mary and children - Philip (1675), Charles (1676), Catherine (1679), Henry (1680), Thomas (1681), Edward (1684) and Mary (1686).
So I have a Philip, then a Philip and then another Philip! I have been to the Church yard and seen the memorial for Philip and his son Philip and Wife Mary. Although its almost unreadable now.
Do let me know if you need any more information.
