Public (rail) footbridge - Holderness Road, Hull

Just found this, enjoyed the view and the A5 class 4-6-2T 69858 running round train at Withernsea.

but what i meant was when i went down craven st and climb up the steps {did you know about them }to go on to hedon rd i looked down and saw where ground had been so i was told i was only a young lad. :

Hi Bill, yes i remember the steps. And when Hollis brothers timber yard moved you could actually see the oval of the old ground

I was born in Hull in 1950 but was taken away in 1956 and never saw it again until a few years ago. I'm now trying to piece together memories of my childhood. I saw timnuttall2000's video of the Withernsea to Hull line and was fascinated to see images of a ride which my mother used to take me on. I'm particularly interested in the buildings seen from the train. Is there a higher resolution version of the film? Presumably one at normal speed would be?

Thanks for posting the link for the footage of the Withernsea - Hull train...brilliant...a journey I made frequently as a child 

As there are a few people with interests in or a connection to the railways I would like to mention a forthcoming Railway Exhibition at the Carnegie Heritage Centre scheduled for Saturday February 25th.
