Hi all
Trying to find info on a family of Scargill/Scargall living in Stoneferry Hull around the 1900s. They came to Hull from Lincolnshire in about 1867. I know a lot about them up to the 1900s

Hi Alan,
The 1901 census shows James & Nellie Scargill & family living at 6 Ferry Avenue, Stoneferry, Hull, all born in Hull. Is this your family, do you need the details?
Also Yorkshirebmd has good coverage for the name Scargill.
