Hi Malcolm,

Long shot maybe, but I have some Folkestone Fishers.... was Lillian's grandmother (or gt-g) Mary Ann Holliday b.Newington) by any chance?

Steph.
Hi Steph, I have Lillian's parents as Robert Fisher b. 1860, mother Hannah Knight b. 1860 and her grandparents as Frederick Fisher 1835 - 1913 and grandmother Mary Baker 1840 - 1908 all born in Newington or Folkestone.

Hi Malc,

I'll bet we have a link somewhere, Newington's a small place and there were plenty of Fishers, many of whom moved to Folkestone!  I'll have a look through my records when I get home, I've not done anything with the Fishers for ages so I'll not guess  ::)

I'll be in touch.
