Father of Harriet John Burgess B. unknown Occupation 1842 Clothworker.
I visted with a great Aunt a few years ago and according to Family history James was killed while serving in the Military. I have not been able to confirm this information. She had claimed "the Boys " were sent to the U.S to avoid serving in the Military. Ironic considering John served in the Civil War.
I have been researching this family for 4 years and have had little luck in English research. If you have any sugestions of where I might look PLEASE let me know.
Considering naming Patterns is it not odd that James and Harriet did not name any Children James or Thomas ?
Thank you so much for the Help.
Again any where you can suggest . It is a bit difficult living in the U.S.
Thank You
