Thanks for your help. Unfortunately the family you have found Catone  is not the Sidney I am after, but coincidentally these Pows are related back to the same William Pow of 1787.
I have tried putting Sidney under his real name Henry Augustus and the name he later uses in all other documents, henry Sidney Pow or Sidney Henry Pow.
I'll keep this open for now.

Henry Augustus/Sidney made it onto the 1881 census too (looks like father is going by middle name of Edward though) -

Thanks Catone. I hadn't been able to find the family in 1881,it's good to see Sidney written as Henry. The family seem to have had a habit of going by second names. Their mother's name was Mary but she was known as Jane.
iN 1901 William is in the workhouse, but I can't find Mary Jane or Charles or Sidney/Henry.
The reason i want to find Sidney/Henry iin 1901 is because he ends up in Bristol by 1903 and I wondered what brought him here and when.
Thanks for everything so far. I'll keep this open for a bit longer.

Just to wrap this up. I still haven't found Sidney in 1901. Also Catone, the census you found was definetly the right family but actually and very confusingly the Henry 1 month old is not my Henry but one of the three children born to William and Mary Jane who died. Sidney or Henry Augustus was not born yet, being born in 1882.

Have posted a link look up in Somerset to get more info on Henry's brother Charles.
